IDBYTE Will Be Held in July As The Indonesia’s Largest Digital Event

Located in the auditorium of the Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday, Indonesia’s Minister of Trade, Mari Elka Pangestu and IDBYTE Chairwoman Shinta Dhanuwardoyo in press conference announced IDBYTE as Indonesia Digital Expo, claimed to be the biggest event in July. This event will be an excellent meeting of marketers, developers, talents, technology vendors, agencies and the general public to discuss and get the latest information about the digital industry, both globally and locally.

The series of events will be held on July 11 to 14 at Pacific Place, Jakarta, where the event will consist of conferences, workshops, exhibitions and Bubu Awards. In this event, IDBYTE will invite a number of prominent speakers and judges of the famous Silicon Valley company. For information, this is the implementation of the seventh Bubu Award since it was first held in 2001.

Plasa.com’s New CEO and COO

Iriana Muadz is officially appointed by Telkom’s Board of Directors to replace Shinta Dhanuwardoyo (ex CEO), and Ariadi Anaya as interim CEO at Plasa.com. At the end of 2010 (then) CEO Shinta D left Plasa.com and followed by resignation of Chief Innovation Officer Andi S Boediman at early 2011. During transition Ariadi Anaya was appointed as interim CEO until Iriana Muadz joins them March 2011.

Looking at her LinkedIn profile, Iriana previously held strategic positions in big FMCH companies such as Unilever and Bintang Toedjoe. Her experience is also prominent, especially on brand strategy, marketing, sales and even business operations.

Inilah CEO & COO baru Plasa.com yang ditunjuk oleh Telkom

Iriana Muadz telah secara resmi ditunjuk oleh jajaran direksi Telkom untuk menggantikan posisi Shinta Dhanuwardoyo (ex CEO) dan juga Ariadi Anaya selaku interim CEO di Plasa.com. Akhir tahun 2010 lalu Plasa.com ditinggalkan oleh CEO Shinta D dan tidak lama kemudian di awal tahun 2011 disusul oleh keluarnya Chief Innovation Officer Andi S Boediman. Selama masa transisi kepemimpinan inilah Ariadi Anaya ditunjuk sebagai interim CEO sampai akhirnya Iriana Muadz masuk di bulan Maret 2011 ini.

Melihat dari profil LinkedIn-nya, Iriana sempat memegang posisi strategis di beberapa perusahaan FMCG besar mulai dari Unilever, dan juga Bintang Toedjoe. Pengalaman Iriana-pun terlihat menonjol, terutama di sisi brand strategy, marketing, sales dan bahkan business operations.

Plasa.com CEO resigned, Ariadi Anaya steps in as interim CEO

This morning, a big announcement comes from a company who claims to be Indonesia’s biggest e-commerce website,Plasa.com. Plasa’s CEO Shinta Dhanuwardoyo is officially confirming the rumor about her resignation from the government-funded company as per Dec 1st 2010. Shinta has been responsible for growing Plasa.com from scratch into a e-commerce platform with 400.000 users on November 2010, together with Andi S Boediman who acts as Chief Innovation at Mojopia -the legal company behind Plasa.com

Before her official statement, rumor has been spreading about her departure and the dispute that happened almost exactly a year ago between Plasa.com management with their Board advisors. Although it seems unlikely for the board to oust Shinta only, that move should be applied to the whole executive team and not only her.
