Introducing Trenologi, My New Project After DailySocial

Previously, Aulia wrote an article, that may be exagerate the fact, about me leaving DailySocial. But what he wrote yesterday is true, I am no longer the chief editor of DailySocial and currently working on a new project.

Introducing Trenologi.com, my new toy – or let’s call it project (to make it sound more serious) – after involved in developing DailySocial for more than 3 years. Trenologi is still under the same company which is responsible for DailySocial – sorry, Aulia. I’m not literally out of the building. I will still write for DailySocial, although won’t be as often as I did when I was chief editor.

Trenologi is a tech blog aimed for public with news coverage that focusses on consumers. It will discuss various things related to technology starting from internet culture, social media and gadget. Articles will be written with a more casual language and will stay in character as a blog.

Perkenalkan Trenologi, Kesibukkan Baru Saya Setelah DailySocial

Sebelumnya Aulia telah menuliskan artikel, yang mungkin terlihat sedikit lebih heboh dari kenyataannya, tentang kepergian saya dari DailySocial. Tapi apa yang dituliskan kemarin benar, saya tidak lagi menjadi chief editor di DailySocial dan sedang mengerjakan proyek baru.

Perkenalkan Trenologi.com, mainan atau kita sebut saja proyek (biar terdengar lebih serius) saya selanjutnya setelah ikut membesarkan DailySocial kurang lebih selama 3 tahun lalu. Trenologi masih di bawah PT yang juga menaungi DailySocial, sorry Aulia, saya tidak benar-benar ke luar dari gedung. Saya sendiri masih akan menulis di DailySocial, meski tentunya tidak akan sesering yang saya lakukan selama memegang posisi chief editor.

Not April Fools: Welcoming Aulia!

If you read Indonesian version of DailySocial on 1st April, you may notice the hoax about a change in DailySocial. It was an April Fools post, but in fact, not all the posts yesterday was a hoax. In this post, I want to say a few updates about DailySocial (DS) and also a little leak on the landing where we will bring the DS.

First, Aulia Masna is not my successor as CEO of the DS. “I’m still the CEO, bitch!”. However Aulia Masna actually joined the DailySocial team and will help to develop multimedia content on the DS. Aulia itself is indeed a technology blogger who has been around the technology blog world in Indonesia, and even was a Managing Editor of the Singapore-based technology blog e27.sg. Happy to have him on board!

Now, let’s talk about DS.

Bukan April Fools : Welcoming Aulia!

Oke, cukup bersenang-senang dengan hoax tentang perubahan di DailySocial kemarin. Tapi sebenarnya, tidak semua posting kemarin adalah hoax. Di post ini, saya ingin menyampaikan beberapa update mengenai DS dan juga sedikit bocoran mengenai arahan kemana kami akan membawa DS.

Pertama, Aulia Masna bukanlah pengganti saya sebagai CEO dari DS. “I’m still the CEO, bitch!”. Namun Aulia Masna benar-benar bergabung ke tim DailySocial dan nantinya akan membantu mengembangkan konten multimedia di DS. Aulia sendiri memang merupakan blogger teknologi yang sudah malang melintang di dunia perbloggingan teknologi di Indonesia dan bahkan sempat menjadi Managing Editor di blog teknologi asal Singapura e27.sg. Happy to have him on board!
