I say it’s grim because most local startups fail to identify solutions for real problems and these startups think they are easily valued at millions of dollars when most of them don’t even have the size of user base or the kind of product that warrants that level of valuation. But there’s hope. A small number of founders have ideas that are actually practical and useful and all they need is some strong business coaching to pair up with their technical knowledge.

Jakarta Founder Institute Offers Scholarship With Female Founder Fellowship Program

It is the last week for the registration of Jakarta Founder Institute. The 9th October 2011 will be the last day to register.

Jakarta Founder Institute will start this program on October 26th, 2011 until February 6th , 2012. It is targeted to get 30 participants to join the course with the curriculum that is needed to build and develop startup, supported also by links and guidance from local and international experienced mentors.

As written previously on DailySocial, there are 14 people has been accepted to join JKFI and the number is increasing. Previously, there were 7 female participants, and now becomes 8 participants.

Jakarta Founder Institute Sediakan Beasiswa Lewat Program Female Founder Fellowship

Pendaftaran untuk Jakarta Founder Institute memasuki minggu terakhir, tanggal 9 Oktober nanti adalah tanggal akhir untuk para calon peserta untuk mendaftarkan diri.

Jakarta Founder Institute akan memulai program mereka pada tanggal 26 Oktober 2011 sampai dengan 6 Februari 2011. Nantinya ditargetkan sebanyak 30 peserta untuk mengikuti kursus ini dengan kurikulum yang dibutuhkan dalam membangun dan membangun startup serta tentunya jaringan dan bimbingan dari para mentor yang berpengalaman baik lokal dan international.

Seperti yang sebelumnya dituliskan DailySocial, dari 30 target peserta saat ini telah ada 14 orang yang diterima untuk program JKFI dan sepertinya terus bertambah, ini terlihat dari jumlah peserta perempuan yang mendaftar, dari sebelumnya 7 kini menjadi 8 orang.

14 Participants Have been Selected for Founder Institute while The Registration is still Available until 9th of October 2011

Several days ago, we got information that at that time, the number of participants for Jakarta Founder Institute (JFI) are 102 applications and 14 of them has been selected. The announcement of the application numbers and the selected applications is also done by Andy Zain via Twitter several days ago.

Novistiar Rustandi informed through email that the 102 applicants consist of 7 females and the rest are men. He also added that the decision has been done through the review and has been decided by Founder Institute (FI) team from Sillicon Valley, led by Adeo Ressi.

Novistiar also explained that there is good news in which Adeo Ressi stated that there are many participants or applicants have good quality. Novistiar also added that FI hopes that the good quality entrepreneurs collaborated with top quality mentors also strong curriculum can create good technology startups. Founder Institute is still waiting for other participants who want to register until 9th of October 2011.

14 Peserta Telah Lolos Seleksi Founder Institute, Pendaftaran Masih Dibuka Sampai 9 Oktober 2011

Beberapa hari yang lalu kami mendapatkan pemberitahuan bahwa untuk saat ini jumlah peserta awal bagi mereka yang ingin mengikuti Jakarta Founder Institute (JFI) telah mencapai 102 aplikasi dan yang telah diterima berjumlah 14 orang. Pengumuman tentang jumlah pendaftar dan jumlah yang aplikasinya diterima juga diumumkan oleh Andy Zain lewat Twitter beberapa hari yang lalu.

Novistiar Rustandi memberitahukan lewat email bahwa dari 102 pendaftar ini terdiri dari 7 perempuan dan sisanya laki-laki. Ditambahkan pula bahwa keputusan penerimaan melewati review dan diputuskan oleh tim Founder Institute (FI) dari Silicon Valley, yang dipimpin oleh Adeo Ressi.

Novistiar juga mengatakan bahwa ada berita baik, dimana Adeo Ressi mengatakan bahwa banyak peserta atau pendaftar dengan kualitas baik. Novistiar juga menambahkan bahwa FI berharap dengan adanya good quality entrepreneurs ditambahkan dengan top quality mentors serta strong curriculum, bisa menciptakan startup di bidang teknologi yang baik pula. Founder Institute juga masih menantikan para peserta yang ingin mendaftarkan sampai dengan tanggal 9 Oktober 2011.

Founder Institute Early Bird Registration is Still Free of Charge until September 18th, 2011

If you are the one who want or already start startup on technology and willing to get intensive training from experienced mentors, Founder Institute may be the good option.

This activity will be held in Jakarta from 26th October 2011 to 6th February 2012. The registration fee is still free until this 18th September 2011. After that date, every registration will be charged $25 and the registration will be available until 9th October 2011. For getting opportunity to join this course, you have to do Predictive Admission Test to determine whether you have entrepreneur mentality.

The number of participant targeted by the Founder Institute is 30 participants. Last information told that they are already 11 participant selected. It means that you still have chance to be the next 19 participants. If you are selected, you have to pay $500 for the course. However, this fee is still negotiable because the organizer has been cooperated with some sponsors, including incubator, to make the lower charge.

Pendaftaran Early Birds Founder Institute Masih Gratis Hingga 18 September

Jika Anda seseorang yang sudah atau ingin memulai suatu startup teknologi dan ingin mendapatkan pendidikan intensif dari para mentor berpengalaman, kegiatan yang diadakan oleh Founder Institute bisa jadi alternatif pilihan. Kegiatan di Jakarta akan dimulai sejak tanggal 26 Oktober hingga 6 Februari tahun depan, di mana biaya pendaftarannya masih gratis hingga tanggal 18 September ini. Setelah tanggal tersebut, setiap pendaftar harus membayar $25 hingga tanggal 9 Oktober. Supaya diterima dalam course ini, Anda perlu mengikuti Predictive Admission Test untuk menentukan apakah Anda memang memiliki mental entrepreneur.

Jumlah peserta yang ditargetkan oleh pihak Founder Institute adalah 30 orang, di mana informasi terakhir sudah terpilih 11 orang. Artinya Anda masih punya kesempatan menjadi 19 orang lainnya untuk melengkapi target ini. Jika diterima, Anda dipersyaratkan untuk membayar course $500, meskipun demikian jumlah tersebut masih dapat dinegosiasi karena pihak penyelenggara telah bekerja sama dengan berbagai sponsor, termasuk inkubator, untuk meringankan biayanya.
