Kerja sama dengan Garuda ini melengkapi layanan pemesanan tiket pesawat oleh Tiket yang sebelumnya mencangkup 3 maskapai yakni Lion Air, Sriwijaya Air dan Batavia Air. DyCode’s Tiket Kereta App for Nokia Asha Phones Uses Tiket’s API

The call by Tiket for developers to take advantage of its API was immediately answered by DyCode. The Bandung-based company has created two identical apps called Tiket Kereta, one for the Asha and another for the Asha Full Touch. The different versions address the different operating systems running on the two Asha lines. Using this app, Nokia Asha users won’t need to go through too much trouble in purchasing their train tickets especially during homecoming season such as right now. The apps are free from Nokia Store.

Tiket Kereta Api Kini Sudah Bisa Dibeli Secara Online

Akhirnya. Setelah sekian lama tertinggal dari moda transportasi seperti pesawat untuk kemudahan pemesanan tiket, akhirnya PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) meluncurkan fasilitas pemesanan dan pembelian tiket melalui Internet. Fasilitas ini melengkapi cara-cara lain untuk membeli tiket kereta api, termasuk di dalamnya Rail Card dan Rail Box serta pembelian di minimarket terdekat. Tidak perlu lagi datang ke stasiun untuk mengantri dan bersaing dengan calo demi mudik atau mengunjungi teman dan kerabat.

Official Launch of Tiket and the Lifestyle Revolution

There were sixty six million passengers flying domestic during 2011, a record high in the history of Indonesian aviation history. The figure, revealed by Anthonius Thedy, Managing Director of TX Travel, at the grand launch of Tiket.com implied something bigger. Indonesian people have a higher purchasing power and have a lifestyle that is more colorful. For many people, this is a lifestyle revolution and this wave is captured well by Tiket.com and similar startups.

Twenty years ago, it would be difficult to imagine this kind of condition. Flight is a favorite mode of transport which can be cheaper than train tickets with much shorter travel time. Development of technology (Internet) coupled with the rise of the middle class in Indonesia creates the kind of consumers that crave for entertainment and stress relieve from urban hustle.

Bali, of course, is a favorite tourist destination, but who would have thought that Raja Ampat in Papua would be a remarkable phenomenon? Lombok, Derawan, Karimun Jawa, Mentawai and many more places in Indonesia also offer fantastic natural beauties that attract tourists (including foreign) to visit them in droves. Not to mention cities like Bandung or Yogyakarta which offer a range of unforgettable cultural attraction.

If we’re on our way to the office and want to make travel arrangements for some time in the near future, how can the conventional travel agent help us choose an appropriate hotel and flights in such a short time? Airline Tickets Now Available from Tiket

Tiket.com has finally added a long awaited feature prior to its grand launch today. Following hotel reservations, movie tickets and concert and event tickets, Tiket.com today lets customers purchase airline tickets to a number of cities across Indonesia as well as outside of the country. The site currently is partnering with Lion Air, Sriwijaya Air and Batavia Air. At the moment there aren’t any local online third party  services that allow ticket purchases with Citilink and Garuda Indonesia although the group does have its own online reservation facilities.

You can say that just about every Indonesian city with a flight route is listed on Tiket. Aside from that, you can also look up flight schedules for Singapore, Guangzhou, Jeddah, and Riyadh should you plan to travel to those cities. There’s no need to login to look up your travel costs but if you plan to book from the site, you’ll get more benefits from logging in and it’s quicker and easier through your Facebook account if you have one. Schedules and fares are valid until early 2013.

Tiket.com Is Now Accepting Credit Card Payment

As announced by their Twitter account, Tiket.com finally accepts payment by credit card. Tiket.com claims that they use payment system using the best technology to detect fraud and to support 3D Secure. Payment gateway that they use is CyberSource, and it’s also used by many large companies such as Apple, Microsoft, and Symantec. One of things that become 3D secure warranty technology is a guarantee from Visa and MasterCard to do full refund in case of fraud.

Previously, when Tiket.com was launched, they only can accommodate payment via bank transfer (ATM) and BCA or Bank Mandiri Internet banking. Method of payment via credit card isn’t only ease to be done via web but for those who are using mobile web, Tiket.com can be used easily as well. Tiket.com currently serves hotel room reservations, theater tickets blitzmegaplex, and one or two events.

Tiket.com was launched last November and received a tremendous feedback. During the promotion period Tiket gave away a three day vacation package to Bali and recently announced the winner of that lucky draw. We’ll now see whether Tiket can make it, following the promo period, in the increasingly tight online travel booking business.
