Wajah dan Semangat Baru HotelQuickly di Usia Ketiga

Hari ini (31/3) aplikasi pemesanan hotel menit-menit akhir (last minute booking) HotelQuickly hadir dengan wajah baru di usia ketiganya sejak peluncuran aplikasi perdana. Wajah baru HotelQuickly ini meliputi pergantian logo, penyegaran desain antarmuka situs dan aplikasi, serta fitur-fitur baru yang disematkan.

HotelQuickly (HQ) mengklaim bahwa kini aplikasi anyar mereka memungkinkan semua penggunanya membuat pesanan untuk banyak kamar, melihat semua penawaran yang tersedia berdasakan lokasi dan pengaturan tampilan kontrol harga untuk menyertakan biaya pajak dan layanan HQ kredit. Desain dari antarmuka aplikasi dan juga situs HQ pun kini lebih segar dengan dominan warna biru muda.

Selain itu, HQ juga menghadirkan fitur Special Gift yang merupakan penghargaan hotel kepada tamu yang memesan melalui aplikasi HotelQuickly. Bentuknya berupa voucher gratis, token dan layanan antar jemput ke bandara.

Hal paling menarik dari pergantian wajah HQ adalah keputusan untuk mengganti logo perusahaan yang semula diwakili oleh bantal menjadi kunci. Pergantian logo ini tak dilakukan sendirian oleh HQ, namun terjadi atas kerja sama dengan konsultan brand Idea Is Everything yang berbasis di London.

Kunci, logo baru HQ, dipilih karena dianggap oleh para pendirinya dapat melambangkan kemampuan aplikasi untuk membuka peluang dan diskon dinamis wisata yang lebih bagi para penggunanya. Semangat baru inilah yang coba diusung HQ untuk tumbuh ke tingkat selanjutnya di tahun keempat.

Co-Founder dan Managing Director HotelQuickly Indonesia Faustin Tan mengatakan, “Ini adalah perkembangan paling evolusioner dan paling ambisius dari HotelQuickly sejak debut aplikasi pada tahun 2013. Kami yakin pemesan hotel yang lebih sederhana dan brand image yang lebih kuat ini akan mendorong HotelQuickly ke tingkat selanjutnya di tahun keempat.”

Bila dilihat dalam beberapa waktu kebelakang, HQ sendiri terlihat agresif untuk tumbuh. Belum lama ini HQ telah menggandeng Doku demi memperluas pilihan pembayaran. Paling baru, HQ mengakuisisi aplikasi pemesanan hotel di Jepang yang bernama Tonight dan menjadikan Jepang sebagai negara ke-16 cakupan wilayah HQ.

Tiket is Ready to Go Regional

During an interview with Tech In Asia, Tiket CTO Natali Ardianto revealed that Tiket is preparing to expand its business to Asia Pacific this year. Tiket is said to plan to open branches or joint ventures in Australia, China, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. However, we yet to receive confirmation whether this plan will actually be implemented this year.

Mantan petinggi Rocket Internet Adrian Li, Steven Kim dan Sean Liao hari ini mengumumkan peluncurkan startup terbaru mereka, sebuah direktori restoran online yang diberinama Qraved. Tiga co-founder ini sebelumnya dikenal melalui peranan mereka di Zalora , OfficeFab dan Wimdu di beberapa negara di Asia. Airline Tickets Now Available from Tiket

Tiket.com has finally added a long awaited feature prior to its grand launch today. Following hotel reservations, movie tickets and concert and event tickets, Tiket.com today lets customers purchase airline tickets to a number of cities across Indonesia as well as outside of the country. The site currently is partnering with Lion Air, Sriwijaya Air and Batavia Air. At the moment there aren’t any local online third party services that allow ticket purchases with Citilink and Garuda Indonesia although the group does have its own online reservation facilities.

You can say that just about every Indonesian city with a flight route is listed on Tiket. Aside from that, you can also look up flight schedules for Singapore, Guangzhou, Jeddah, and Riyadh should you plan to travel to those cities. There’s no need to login to look up your travel costs but if you plan to book from the site, you’ll get more benefits from logging in and it’s quicker and easier through your Facebook account if you have one. Schedules and fares are valid until early 2013.

The service is called Cabara.co.id. Although it is still in beta version and some features haven’t been developed yet, but you can use to get a maid/helper service. Tiket.com Goes Mobile With Web Access For Smartphones

Tiket.com today launched its mobile site for smartphones and tablet users though it still lacks a more inclusive range of payment methods.

Instead of providing mobile apps tailored for all the different kinds of mobile devices, Tiket has smartly chosen the mobile web approach to cater for those looking to purchase movie tickets or book for accommodations across a number of cities in Indonesia.

The site automatically detects mobile browsers upon entering the website’s address and takes you directly to the mobile version, although if accessed on an Android tablet, you get served the full site. But if you open it through iPad’s Safari, you’ll see the mobile site.

You can of course manually enter the address for the mobile site which is http://m.tiket.com from any device, including desktop or laptop computers and it will serve you the mobile version.

Salah satu startup Indonesia yang paling sering dibicarakan, Tiket.com akan segera meluncurkan layanan mereka dalam waktu kurang dari dua minggu. Kabar ini beredar berdasarkan Tweet dari akun Twitter Tiket.com. Natali Ardianto, COO Tiket juga menuliskan di blog pribadinya bahwa Tiket akan diluncurkan 11 hari lagi, 18 November 2011.

Tiket.com to Launch in Less than Two Weeks [Updated]

One of the most talked about Indonesian startups, tiket.com will be launching in less than two weeks according to a message posted on its Twitter account. The ticket booking company is run by the people behind PhaseDev, the mobile app development company headed by Wenas Agusetiawan whose products include Bouncity and WayangForce.

While many of the existing ticketing outlets serve particular niches separately, such as concerts, sporting events, travel, accommodation, and other categories, tiket.com aims to be a one stop booking outlet for just about everything that requires a ticket to participate. It will face a horde of Indonesian competitors including major players Ibu Dibjo and Raja Karcis as well as the various travel agencies.

Last year, DailySocial did a review on TiketDomestik.com, provider of ticket price and flight schedule information.
