Cooliris Rilis Aplikasi Pesan LiveShare untuk Android

Aplikasi LiveShare yang telah di-reboot kini tidak lagi hanya tersedia untuk iOS. Colliris baru saja mengumumkan bahwa versi terbaru dari aplikasi ini telah tersedia di Google Play secara gratis. Sebagai aplikasi pesan, LiveShare menghilangkan biaya mahal untuk saling bertukar pesan antara pengguna dengan menyediakan fasilitas apikasi gratis serta tampilan yang bagus dan terorganisir yang menggabungkan aktivitas pesan antara satu orang dengan yang lain atau secara grup, ditambah dengan fasilitas berbagi foto. Dengan integrasi yang lebih dalam dengan Facebook dan buku alamat di perangkat, LiveShare memungkinkan pengguna untuk secara mulus mengundang teman mereka dan berinteraksi lebih visual secara real time.

CEO Cooliris, Soujanya Bhumkar dalam pers rilisnya mengatakan, “Pengguna perangkat mobile mengharapkan performa serta kesederhanaan serta kemampuan untuk mengekspresikan diri mereka menggunakan ponsel mereka. Kami percaya bahwa pengalaman berkomunikasi seharusnya bisa menyenangkan dan cross-platform, dan tim kami telah bekerja tekun untuk menciptakan sebuah pengalaman yang sama antara Web, Android, dan iOS. Cooliris Unveils LiveShare Messaging App for Android

The reboot LiveShare app that currently focus on messaging activities is “iOS only no more”. Cooliris just announces that the reboot version is now available on Google Play for free. As messaging app, LiveShare eliminates the consumers’ expensive messaging costs with a free and beautifully-organized experience that blends 1-to-1 and group messaging with collage-style photo sharing. With its deeper integration with Facebook and the device’s address book, LiveShare enables users to seamlessly invite their friends and interact more visually in real-time.

Cooliris CEO, Soujanya Bhumkar in the press release said, “Mobile users expect performance and simplicity along with the ability to express themselves using their phones. We believe that the communication experience should be delightful and cross-platform, and our team has worked diligently to create a ubiquitous experience across Web, Android, and iOS. This all-new version for Android accomplishes that goal.”

LiveShare Pivots from Photostream Apps to Messenger

We received information that LiveShare that was previously loaded as a photostream application has changed its model into messenger application. This change is surprising because the last news we heard was that LiveShare has around 4,2 million users worldwide. This amount is far more than Path’s users. Cooliris as LiveShare creator is already has an office in Singapore and had plans to bring this application to Indonesia – by working with Elasitas as local partner.

Area Messenger, which became the new target of LiveShare is also a big question mark. In this segment, WhatsApp as the most popular hegemony is hard to rocked, although there are many players in this segment. Although offered for free, of course LiveShare must answer the question: can they guarantee the reliability as SMS replacement messaging platform?

I personally have tried LiveShare and quite impressed with the beauty of the interface it has to offer. There are three advantages of LiveShare that WhatsApp does not own. First, LiveShare allows us to post umages and share them with other users without it be downloaded by other user first. It’s just like uploading photos to Facebook.

LiveShare Lakukan Pivot dari Aplikasi Photostream ke Messenger

Kami memperoleh informasi bahwa LiveShare yang sebelumnya pernah dimuat sebagai suatu aplikasi photostream, mengubah model aplikasinya menjadi messenger. Perubahan ini cukup mengejutkan karena kabar terakhir yang kami dengar bahwa LiveShare telah memiliki sekitar 4,2 juta pengguna di seluruh dunia. Jumlah ini jauh lebih banyak ketimbang pengguna Path. Cooliris sebagai pembuat LiveShare pun telah memiliki kantor cabang di Singapura dan sempat berencana untuk membawa aplikasi ini ke Indonesia — dengan bekerja sama dengan Elasitas sebagai partner lokal.

Area Messenger yang menjadi sasaran versi baru LiveShare juga menjadi tanda tanya besar. Di segmen ini, hegemoni WhatsApp sebagai yang terpopuler sulit digoyang, meskipun pemain yang ada di sini sudah sangat banyak. Meskipun ditawarkan secara gratis, LiveShare tentu saja harus menjawab pertanyaan, apakah mereka bisa menjamin kehandalan (reliabilitas) sebagai platform messaging pengganti SMS?

In a short period of time, LiveShare will be officially available in Indonesia through Elasitas as its local partner. Information about LiveShare has been written in the previous articles. LiveShare works as a real time photo album. It will update information (in the form of photostream) to your friends anytime you take photos by this application. Cooliris, which is located in the USA has a representation office in Singapore.
