Nokia Developer Manager Narenda Wicaksono let slip on his tweet showing off the new Lumia 820 and 920 that Windows Phone now has the much expected Blue Bird Group mobile app. Blue Bird Group is Indonesia’s premier taxi company and currently it is the only one that has its own reservation app for smartphone users. Its apps for iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry were launched a while ago to great success, shifting taxi orders from the overloaded phone booking system to a much more efficient and trackable app environment.

Microsoft Pastikan Windows Phone 7.8 Hadir Awal Tahun 2013

Setelah muncul kesimpangsiuran atas berita kapan Windows Phone 7.8 bakal keluar sebagai jembatan bagi current products yang “terjebak” tidak bisa upgrade ke Windows Phone 8. Sejumlah rumor mengatakan bahwa rilisnya akan keluar dalam hitungan hari. Akhirnya Microsoft angkat bicara. Microsoft, Nokia, and Radya Labs to Run Another Mobile App Challenge

Nokia Indonesia and Microsoft Indonesia are running another joint app competition, this time it’s called Lumia App Olympiad. The competition is open to students and the public who are proficient in using the SDK for Windows Phone 7.5 or Windows Phone 8. The winner will receive a gold medal, Nokia Premium Developer Program worth USD 1500, and the latest Nokia smartphone powered by Windows Phone 8. The event is supported by Evernote, Radya Labs, and Merah Putih Inc.
