The company has announced Windows Phone 8 GDR 3, or simply Update 3, and it will be available for registered developers today. The update features a number of new features, enhancements, and support for a greater variety of devices, which will be rolled out for the public in the coming weeks.

Skybee Plans to Acquire an e-Commerce Company to Push Mobile Money Adoption

Indonesian mobile devices and services company Skybee revealed that it is in the process of acquiring an e-commerce company according to a report by IndoTelko. Additionally the company is also pushing Skye Mobile Money as a payment method for mobile consumers after it let go of its majority ownership of Numedia Global, the company behind mig33, this time last year.

Facebook Acquires Mobile Data Company Onavo

Onavo, the Israeli company that offers mobile apps for data management, announced that it has been acquired by Facebook. Based in Tel Aviv, the company’s office will become Facebook’s new office in Israel as both companies have agreed on keeping the team in Israel rather than moving them to Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, California.

Facebook has hired Anand Tilak away from Google to become its country manager for Indonesia.
