Cisco Predicted 4G Connection Penetration in Indonesia will Be 56 Times Better in 2019

Indonesia is considerably late in implementing the 4G/LTE technology while some still doubt that the tech will have its glory in the country. However, some others argue that the implementation of this tech is revolutionary. They also believe that the current tech is mature enough that it won’t take long for 4G/LTE to rise. Cisco, in its Cisco Visual Networking Index (VNI) Global Mobile Data Traffic Forecast for 2014-2019 report, predicted that the application of 4G in Indonesia will be 56 times better from 2014 to 2019. Indonesia bisa dibilang terlambat dalam penerapan jaringan 4G/LTE dan segelintir orang juga masih banyak yang pesimis dengan penerapan teknologi ini ke depannya. Meskipun demikian tak sedikit pula yang menyatakan bahwa gagasan implementasi 4G/LTE ini menarik dan percaya bahwa dengan tingkat kedewasaan teknologi saat ini pemanfaatan teknologi 4G/LTE tidak akan membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk matang. Cisco, dalam laporan Cisco Visual Networking Index (VNI) Global Mobile Data Traffic Forecast for 2014 to 2019, memprediksikan bahwa penggunaan koneksi 4G di Indonesia akan bertumbuh 56 kali lipat dari 2014 sampai 2019.
