East Ventures Alpha : A 100-days Accelerator Program For Indonesian Startups

East Ventures officially announces their 100-days accelerator program for Indonesian startups that will be held in their new shiny space in Jakarta. This accelerator program is called “East Ventures Alpha” and will be help from September-December this year, and they have officially open registration for startup until August 20th 2011.

Even though the activity will be based in Jakarta, the program is open for all startup from all over Indonesia who is willing to do their projects and ideas full-time on their accelerator space in Senayan, Jakarta. Other than office space, infrastructure and funding, EV Alpha will also facilitate mentorship program with mentors from Indonesia and also foreign mentors.

Sebuah Daftar Singkat dari Investor Teknologi di Indonesia

Akhir-akhir ini banyak sekali investasi yang terjadi di Indonesia, startup di bidang teknologi menjadi sorotan dan (hampir) semua orang membicarakannya. Namun, saya melihat lebih banyak dana investasi yang dibentuk daripada startup berkualitas tinggi yang diluncurkan, bukti kuat bahwa semua orang mencoba untuk masuk ke industri ini tetapi sayangnya startup yang ada belum siap, atau kemungkinan lain dimana para startup ini tidak membutuhkan dana (kecil kemungkinannya).

A Simple List of Indonesian Tech Investors

Investments in Indonesia is going crazy these days, everyone’s doing something with tech startups – sort of. These days, I’m seeing more fund being set up rather than high-quality startup launches, which proofs that everybody is trying to get a piece of the cake but the startups aren’t prepared yet, or the startups simply doesn’t need fund (less likely).

So, in this post I’m gonna give some overview info on the several tech investment funds being set up to invest in Indonesian startup companies, their background and portfolios. Nusantara Incubation Fund diluncurkan untuk startups Indonesia

Startup asal Indonesia yang mencari peluang investasi sekarang punya pilihan lain untuk pitch berbagai ide yang mereka punya. Bakrie Telecom kemarin meluncurkan Nusantara Incubation Fund untuk berinvestasi pada perusahaan baru yang mengoperasikan layanan web dan mobile, pengembangan aplikasi serta yang bergerak di bidang media generasi berikutnya.

Selaras dengan Visi Bakrie Telecom Media dan Teknologi 2015 yang diumumkan pada bulan Maret lalu, inkubator baru ini mengalokasikan lebih dari US$11 juta untuk mendukung beberapa startup selama tiga tahun.

Nusantara Incubation Fund launched for Indonesian startups

nusantara logoIndonesian startups looking for possible investment opportunities now have another option to which they can pitch their ideas. Bakrie Telecom yesterday launched Nusantara Incubation Fund to invest in new companies who operate web and mobile services and apps as well as next generation media.

The new incubator is allocating more than US$11 million to support several startups for three years and is part of Bakrie’s Telecom Media and Technology Vision 2015 which was announced back in March of this year.

The investment committee at Nusantara Incubation is made up of four highly experienced professionals who are recognized as leaders and experts in their fields. They are Shinta Dhanuwardoyo, Frederik J. Meijer, better known as Erik Meijer, Jastiro Arbi, and Hasan Yahya. Their respective profiles are available at Nusantara’s website.
