Bukalapak confirmed an undisclosed Series B funding they received from PT Kreatif Media Karya (KMK Online), subsidiary of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk. (EMTEK Group) yesterday (4/2). Microsoft Indonesia Appoints Andreas Diantoro As President Director

After losing Sutanto Hartono at the end of 2011, Microsoft has apparently appointed Andreas Diantoro as President Director of Microsoft Indonesia to replace Hartono.

Prior joining Microsoft, Diantoro had been in the corporate IT business of multinational companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Dell. Diantoro has spent more than 11 years at Hewlett-Packard Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia before leaving the position as Managing Director for HP Indonesia to move to Dell Asia as its Managing Director. At Dell Asia, Diantoro supervised 23 countries in Asia and India, focusing on the consumer business.

Based on his work in HP and Dell, Diantoro was crowned as the “Most Inspiring Chief Marketing Officer 2005″ by Warta Ekonomi and “Indonesia’s 25 CEOs to Watch in 2006” by SWA magazine.

According to Kompas, Diantoro has confirmed this news and he will soon carry out his duties at Microsoft Indonesia starting February 15th, 2012.

Setelah kehilangan Sutanto Hartono akhir 2011 lalu, kini Microsoft Indonesia dikabarkan telah menunjuk Andreas Diantoro sebagai Presiden Direktur Microsoft Indonesia menggantikan Sutanto.

Sebelum bergabung dengan Microsoft, Andreas sudah berkecimpung di bisnis IT korporat di perusahaan multinasional seperti Hewlett-Packard dan Dell. Andreas menghabiskan lebih dari 11 tahun di Hewlett-Packard Indonesia, Singapura dan Australia sebelum meninggalkan posisi Managing Director untuk HP Indonesia untuk pindah ke Dell Asia, juga sebagai Managing Director. Di Dell Asia, Andreas membawahi 23 negara di Asia dan India, memfokuskan diri ke consumer business.

Sutanto Hartono Akan Mengundurkan Diri Sebagai Presiden Direktur Microsoft Indonesia (Updated)

Presiden Direktur dan General Manager Microsoft Indonesia, Sutanto Hartono, kemarin dalam pertemuan perusahaan mengumumkan niatnya untuk mengundurkan diri dari perusahaan dan kembali ke industri media.

Sutanto bergabung dengan raksasa perangkat lunak pada tahun 2010 setelah sebelumnya menjabat sebagai CEO dan Managing Director di stasiun televisi RCTI. Sutanto akan meninggalkan Microsoft Indonesia pada akhir Oktober setelah kurang dari dua tahun menempati posisi tersebut.

Belum ada nama pengganti yang diumumkan, namun diperkirakan bahwa untuk sementara posisi yang ditinggalkan akan diisi oleh pejabat regional.

During this time, he will be working with the Microsoft Indonesia’s senior leadership team to ensure that it is business as usual for our customers. We want to thank him for his nearly 2 years of leadership as Country Manager and wish him every success in his new role. Microsoft is looking to appoint his successor and will make a further announcement on this when appropriate.

Sutanto Hartono to resign as President Director of Microsoft Indonesia (Updated)

President Director and General Manager of Microsoft Indonesia, Sutanto Hartono, yesterday announced in a company meeting of his intention to resign from the company and return to the media industry.

Hartono, who joined the software giant in 2010 from television station RCTI where he served as CEO and Managing Director, will be leaving Microsoft Indonesia by the end of October after less than two years at the helm.

No replacement has been named but it is expected that a regional appointee will be taking the position temporarily.
