Ohdio Co-Founder and CEO Yoga Nandiwardhana is Off to XL Axiata

Ohdio co-founder and CEO Yoga Nandiwardhana is stepping down from his role at the music streaming startup to return to the telco industry although he will be remaining on board as product advisor. Filling the spot will be co-founder Ario S. Tamat who will take over as interim chief executive effective immediately. Nandiwardhana informed DailySocial of the changes via email today.

Ohdio FM Lets Listeners Create Playlists Based on Selected Artists

Indonesian online radio Ohdio.FM today announced an addition to its streaming channels in the form of artist selections. Ohdio now features a section called Radio Artis which allows listeners to automatically create playlists based on the band or the singer that they have selected. The new feature is being made available on the desktop first and will be making its way to the mobile interface in the coming weeks.

Layanan streaming musik lokal Ohdio.fm (Ohdio) akhirnya mempromosikan aplikasi pihak ketiga yang dibuat untuk platform Windows Phone 8. Sebagaimana yang dikutip dari tulisan di blognya, aplikasi ini dibuat oleh Sonny Lazuardi (dengan entitas escepta) menggunakan private API — artinya masih belum bisa digunakan secara bebas. Hanya dibutuhkan waktu dua minggu bagi aplikasi ini untuk nangkring di Windows Phone Store.

I have been a fan of Ohdio from the beginning and still believe it has a good chance of becoming successful even though the service hadn’t really found its strength until recently. This new approach reinvigorates not just general interest in the service but also its possibility of success. Not only that, it helps introduce Indonesians to a modern way to enjoy music.

Indonesian Music Streaming Service Ohdio Gets a Revamp and Mobile Access

Streaming music service Ohdio has gone through a significant makeover of its services. The changes include a move from ohd.io to ohdio.fm (which reminds us of last.fm) a simplified new logo, a new look which focuses on hundreds of pre-loaded playlists and a mobile web version that actually works. Despite the many changes, Yoga Nandiwardhana as CEO and co-founder Ohdio maintains that the service remains the easiest way to listen to Indonesian music on the Internet.
