Nilainya sendiri tidak diungkapkan kepada publik tetapi yang jelas PriceArea merupakan akusisi pertama Yello Mobile di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Andry Suhaili, Founder dan CEO PriceArea, menyatakan, dirinya tetap memegang kendali operasional PriceArea, dan langkah pertama yang akan diambil setelah akuisisi adalah memetakan ekspansi regional. Ryan Gondokusumo Dan Kisah di Balik Fundraising Sribu

Layanan crowdsourcing desain Sribu, awal Februari lalu mendapatkan pendanaan seri A dari investor Infoteria Jepang. Sebelumnya, startup yang menempatkan diri sebagai penghubung bagi creative designer dengan klien melalui sebuah kontes desain ini juga telah mendapatkan pendanaan dari East Venture. Tech in Asia is on an aggressive roll following its round of funding from ~~IMJ~~ Fenox VC recently. After having swallowed Singapore based blog SGE, today it officially announced its acquisition of Indonesian mobile gaming blog GameSaku from Apps Foundry. The Singapore-based tech blog is kickstarting a new property covering the games industry in the region and it will build the new blog from this acquisition.

Property Listing Startup UrbanIndo Raises Seven Figure Series A Financing from GREE Ventures and Others

Today real estate marketplace UrbanIndo announced that it has closed an investment round led by Japan’s GREE Ventures. The investment represents an expansion of GREE’s Indonesian portfolio which includes online fashion retail site BerryBenka and price comparison site PriceArea. IMJ Fenox, a newly created joint venture investment firm also participated in the round along with an unnamed Asian entrepreneur.

Three Years of East Ventures

There’s no denying the influence that Singapore-based East Ventures has had on the Indonesian startup scene. The investment firm founded by Willson Cuaca, Batara Eto, Taiga Matsuyama, and Chandra Tjan in 2010 has made significant strides in the growth, expansion, and acquisition of some of the most well known technology oriented companies in the region. The company may be based in Singapore but its main area of interest is Indonesia. Out of the 26 companies that it has been involved with, 18 are Indonesian. This month marks the company’s third year in operation.
